Characteristics of Item Replacement in Weibull Distribution

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study preventive replacement in order to increase system’s MTBF by replacing item following the Weibull Distribution. Here, we discuss the periodic preventive replacement and random preventive replacement as preventive replacement. According to item preventive replacement following Weibull Distribution, based on the MTBF evaluation of item to study the characteristics of item replacement.
