Abstract

The rapid spread of the mosquito-borne fever, dengue, is a growing public health concern in Bangladesh. The nation experienced its worst dengue outbreak in 2023. This study aims to present an overview of the 2023 dengue situation in Bangladesh. We utilized monthly reported data on dengue cases and dengue-related deaths obtained from the Bangladesh Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).
